Steve Bell, Jr, is a second-generation instrument repair tech that built a school music dealer business with his father Steve Bell, Sr. servicing over sixty school music programs in north Texas market.  Steve Bell, Jr. grew up in the instrument repair shop and absolutely loves what he does!  He takes a tremendous amount of pride in helping people and wants to provide each player with the best experience possible.  Steve continues to run the family business with integrity, kindness, faith, and hard work while developing professional educator and administration relationships, and delivering quality service at an affordable price.

The school music business provided Steve Bell, Jr. the opportunity to start Bell Trumpets in addition to Bell's Music Shop.  Bell's Music Shop is an authorized dealer for all of the major manufacturers of instruments and accessories including Bach - Conn-Selmer, Yamaha, Shires Q - Eastman, B&S - Buffet - Crampon,  Getzen, Jupiter - KHS America, Gard Bags, Greg Black, CarolBrass - Hoxon, A. R. Resonance, Taylor Trumpets, Bam, Protec, Torpedo, and so many accessories. 

Inspirational trumpet builders/makers for Steve are Andy Taylor - Taylor Trumpets in the UK, Domenico Calicchio - Calicchio Trumpets, and Vincent Bach - Bach Trumpets.  In the summer of 2023 Steve traveled across the pond to cross train with Andy Taylor and the Taylor Trumpet team on custom parts fabrication and old school bell making.  "I'm thankful to have this experience in my professional career and I'm humbled that Andy Taylor provided me this opportunity of cross training...  I will always remember my time with the Taylor trumpet team Paco and Lee"               

When Steve is not at the shop he is typically chasing the love of his life Michelle "Sweetness" and together they have four children Austin, Claire, Brody, and Jillian with two amazing dogs Hank and Finley.  Steve enjoys quality smoked BBQ, live music, playing his custom trumpet and guitars with "ATR", his kiddos, camping in the mountains, kayaking, fishing, fast cars, hanging out with his friends and family, give thanks to The Lord, laughing really hard at commercials, and trying to be the best Dad and Stevie he can be for their kids.
